The Earth.Wind.Water.Sky book arrived the other day. I was very excited by this fact. It is such a nice book and the feeling knowing your work is in a book wih other artists and it has been published is great.
Great art picks up where nature ends.
I have just graduated with a BA(Hons) Fine Art degree from Nottingham Trent University. I'm trying to find my way now I am out of education.

This book has been created for the exhibition and I have to say it looks beautifully done. Wow, my work is in a book, I cannot tell you how excited I am right now.

Two pieces of my work have been accepted into an exhibition in Gloucestershire in May and I am very excited by this fact. They are ‘The spindly trees surrounded by the wild earth’ and ‘Mist is hanging low over the earth.’
I thought the email was rejecting my work so I can’t tell you how it felt when I realised it wasn’t. I was at work and the smile on my face wouldn’t disappear and I was telling everyone I saw whether they wanted to know or not!
I had to write a 25 word personal statement for it which isn’t as easy as it sounds and it took me a while to find one I was happy with:
I leave no permanent mark on the landscapes I walk in, experience and discover but the work wouldn’t exist if the walk hadn’t of happened.

My piece sold in the art auction.
I cannot tell you how happy I was/am. It has really inspired and spurred me on.
